If option 1 passes, then any DN that was not registered at the time of the vote can stay registered, they just won’t be able to operate after 2.0 starts without de-registering, buying 18K more REN and then re-registering with 118K REN.
theoretically.
no one has indicated there will actually be (an essentially forced) de-reg/re-reg in order to get an existing DN over to 2.0
Of course things may change, but this is the last thing I believe was said regarding this
Knowing that, it’s possible they may create a function to deposit an additional 18k Ren into the existing bond so you can stay registered and keep the extra voting power
